2026 BOB MASON open

This years Bob Mason Open will be run at Jimmy Whites Sports Lounge on the 23rd August 2026

JIMMY WHITE HAS CONFIRMED THAT HE WILL PLAY IN THIS EVENT

This event was founded by Terry Teeman from Snookerz in memory of Bob Mason, who founded Woking Snooker Centre in 1988.  Woking Snooker Centre  closed its doors for the last time in 2025 and as many of you will know has been replaced by a wonderful new venue, Jimmy Whites Sports Lounge (JWSL) , led by the legend Jimmy White. 

Terry said: "I am personally delighted that that JWSL has agreed with the Mason family to continue the Bob Mason Open at this fantastic new venue, and I am proud to be organising and running this tournament on behalf of JWSL"

Entries are capped at 48 players. This is a one day event, so will be a straight knock out. All professional tour players will give all amateur players an 18 point start in each frame. 

This tournament will be a straight knock out event . Each round being a minimum of the best of 5 frames

We hope to stream this event and will supply details of the stream nearer to the event itself.
