We believe that all a snooker player should need to succeed in the game of snooker is the skill to succeed. Put simply , that means be good enough at the game. Now more than ever, times are difficult for many , and it costs alot of money to follow a tour around the globe to compete in tournaments. Whilst those at the very top of the game enjoy the fame and riches that go along with that position, it is our belief that players, who are perhaps equally as talented are being denied the chance to climb to such heights, because they cant afford the get onto the mountain, let alone start climbing it.
Snookerz was set up, by Terry T (our founder) for two reasons. Firstly to run (and help run) tournaments that showcase and highlight the great talent there is in the Amateur game and secondly to support, by way of snooker sponsorship for those that aspire to climb the mountain within amateur snooker. We are not here to put noses out of joint etc . We are here simply to showcase and where possible, support players that have the talent, but not the backing / wealthy families / existing sponsorship to follow their dream within grass roots snooker and hopefully beyond.
Currently we are very restricted in what we can do. Funding is very limited and very hard to come by. Big names and personalities within the game talk a great show when it comes to grass roots snooker but in reality offer little or no help to those many people up and down the country and beyond that are trying, in their own way to do what we're trying to do. ' . Our funding is soley from small businesses and in some cases individuals that wish to help amateur snooker by way of snooker sponsorship.
We would absolutely welcome contact from anyone , or any company that wishes to help what we're trying to achieve here or if you prefer to donate directly please visit our 'Crowdfunding Page' EVERY PENNY WE RAISE WILL GO TO HELP PLAYERS.
We would love to see a sport where everyone, no matter what background / resources has an equal chance to succeed. A sport that is run for the sport, for those that play the sport, for those that enjoy the sport, for those like us that love the sport. When there is scandal in Snooker, we hear in the media about how Snooker is dying, how its in trouble - These are opinions of the few based on the actions of a few individuals , normally high up in the game and are NOT indicitive or reflective of the vast majority of great people involved in the game of snooker. The game has never been so strong, there has never been so much talent out there and we hope that one day soon, the world gets to see, what we already know.
The Bob Mason Open will be held on the 24th & 25th August 2024. A similar event to Snookerz' Open, we'll be playing groups on Day 1 and the Last 16 knockout on Day 2. The event is capped at 48 so register early to avoid disappointment.

We're delighted to confirm sponsorship of Peter Devlin for Q School 2024
Peters' Bio, in his own words:
I’ve been around for a while, always practicing hard and giving it my absolute best.
In 2020, I managed to get onto the pro tour. During that time, I learnt a lot, and gained a lot of valuable experience. I had some massive highs and lows, as to be expected. Most notably a run to the last 16 of a ranking event, with a victory over Mark Williams.
Unfortunately, I didn’t do enough to stay on the circuit, and I’m now back on the amateur circuit. I’m entering every tournament I possibly can to try and get back to where I believe I belong. Q School 2024 would be a great opportunity to win my place back on the pro tour.
I aspire to be back on the pro tour, and to start doing some damage and getting to later stages of tournaments. I have had the experience of it, I’ve put the work in, now I just have to get back there!
GOOD LUCK PETER !!

My name is Mary Talbot. I first started playing when I was 14 and fell in love with the game, I played on the World Women’s tour for 7 years until the age of 21 and reached number 7 in the world before having to give up for health reasons. In 2020 after not playing for 19 years I picked up a cue again and immediately fell back in love with the game and haven’t stopped playing since. I have been back playing on the World women’s tour since 2021 and am currently ranked World number 6. I recently won my first ranking event; the 2023 Eden Women’s Masters.
I am dedicated to the game, practicing and playing as much as I can. I hope with sponsorship I can enter more events, improve my game and go on to win more ranking events.

It was a great day at the Cuestars Junior 900 (in association with Snooker Legends) We were delighted to be a sponsor at the event , which was won by Ronnie Sullivan who played first class snooker on the day and deserved his win. Our very own Terry T also was invited to ref part of the day and the final - and he loved every minute of it
A big thanks to John Hunter from Cuestars who organised the event and of course Jason Francis and Snooker Legends for hosting it and their invaluable support during the day.
