Welcome to Snookerz Sponsorships
IMPORTANT UPDATE 09/09/24:
SNOOKERZ SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION WINDOW IS NOW OPEN AND WILL CLOSE AT 14.00 ON 17/09/24
=====================================================================
====================================================================
Sponsorship Applications Information:
It is important also for you to be aware that currently we are only able to offer very small sponsorships. Typically these will help you with entry fees and a few incidental expenses.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Our ethos is quite simple. We believe that any player who has the skill to succeed in the game, should be able to do just that, regardless of how well off (or not) they or their parents / backers might be. ANY PLAYER from ANY TOUR is welcome to apply for sponsorship but we are more likely to award (or continue) sponsorhships to players that can demonstrate success in their chosen tour. This doesnt mean you must have won every tournament you've played in, but it does mean you should be regularily getting past group stages and / or the first couple of rounds of knockout draws.
ALSO and equally as important you must be able to and preparred to actively push the Snookerz brand by wearing the Snookerz patch at EVERY round of EVERY tournament we have agreed you will wear it at , and also give exposure to the brand on your social media. This helps us to secure more funding. This is essential and if you do not do this should we sponsor you, it is highly unlikely we will sponsor you again.
We invite you to view the profiles of those we have already sponsored below the application buttons

We're delighted to confirm sponsorship of Dalton Lawrence for the WDBS British Open at Woking Snooker Centre ; 12-14 Jan 2024
WE RECENTLY INTERVIEWED DALTON ; YOU CAN WATCH THAT INTERVIEW HERE
Daltons' Bio, in his own words:
I started playing pool in a local pub from the age of 16, and after reaching quite a high level, I wanted a challenge! I joined the Green Baize Snooker Club in Horsham in 1984, and became a member of the Green Baize “A” team until 2003. In this time we won the premier league many times, and my greatest achievement was to become Horsham champion in 2002. I also had my best ever season having compiling some century breaks .
I stopped playing for a few years due to family and work! …I missed the sport very much, and decided to join the Woking Snooker Centre after moving to Guildford when I met my soul mate and life partner, on a blind date. I then met John Monckton at the club, and joined as a league player in the Byfleet snooker league. Now still playing in this league 10 years on!
Unfortunately in 2011, I had a massive shock to the system when two discs in my neck completely prolapsed, and much damage was done to the nerves in my neck, shoulders and arms, creating some paralysis down into my arms and hands! I had a double discectomy in my neck in 2012 which turned my life completely round causing me unable to play snooker like I used to! I can’t look up very far now, which means I can’t get down on to my cue to see.
In 2023 I became aware of the World Disability Billiards and Snooker. I applied and was accepted into group 5, and competed in my first WDBS championship in Belgium March 2023. I felt accepted immediately, and have made some really good friends along the way. To my amazement, I won the tournament on my first attempt. Unfortunately I missed the next tournament in Hull due to my father passing away, but attended the next tournament in Carlow, Ireland. I won this won too.
In September 2023 we went to Northampton for the next tournament, this time coming runner up.
In October we went to Germany for the next tournament. My partner Ro came to this one too, which was fantastic. Again came runner up! I’m currently number 3 in my group which in my first year is fantastic!
I can’t wait for the next tournament which is the WDBS British Open in my home club, Woking Snooker Centre in January 2024! Bring it on!
GOOD LUCK DALTON !!
We're delighted to confirm sponsorship of Dave Waller for the 2024 Snookerz Open 27/28 April

Daves' Bio, in his own words:
I currently play in two local leagues in Somerset where I live (having originally been born and raised in Horley, Surrey). I play for Ilminster Bowling & Tennis Club in The Yeovil & District League and out of Somerton Sports Club in The Wells & District League.
I initially started playing pool as a child and was fortunate enough to play for my County at youth level. I then drifted out of competitive pool and only played socially.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and medically retired from my job. This also cost me my hobby as a football referee.
During COVID I became aware of World Disability Billiards and Snooker. As such I began to play snooker at a social level with a view to getting involved with them. Since 2022 I have been playing in their tournaments with my best results so far being three quarter final appearances out of seven entered.
In the coming season as well as WDBS tournaments and league competitions, I will be entering Somerset County and Cuestars events. My game is improving the more I play and I am hopeful for improvements in my results moving forward. I would like to thank Terry and all at Snookerz for their sponsorship and endeavour in improving grassroots snooker. Most recently, I reached the final of the 2024 Belgian Open (Gp5)
GOOD LUCK DAVE !!
We're delighted to confirm sponsorship of Phil O'Kane for the WSF 2024 Championships in Albania ; 29 Jan to 11 Feb , 2024
Phils' Bio, in his own words:
Hi, my name is Phil O’Kane and I’m 31 years of age. I’m currently playing on the English amateur im tour and q tour, I’m sitting in 7th place on the England amateur with top 4 getting a space in the Europeans which is my target for this season. I’ve been in and around snooker for a while, playing on tv numerous times and in ranking events against the worlds best.
Due to personal and family reasons I had to give up for a few years but being a lot more settled in life I think this is what I needed to progress to the next level.
I’ve relocated to Derby and the club (cueball) have helped me a lot. Even installing my table and helping me have the perfect practice facilities. This year I have seen a drastic change, with my preparation and lifestyle and seen a big improvement with my results and standard. With the help of this sponsorship and support, who knows what could happen and let’s hope it’s a start to a successful road ahead for both party’s.
GOOD LUCK PHIL !!

Johns' Bio, in his own words:
At the age of 6 I started playing pool at local pubs and received many compliments. I then went to a snooker club and enjoyed playing and went around once a month as I also went bowling, badminton and karate on Saturdays, however I dreamt of being a pro snooker player when I was older, after a couple years I started playing once a week.
At the age of 10 I started going to John Woods' junior club, got coaching sessions and gradually built up the time I played snooker.
I started going into national tournaments at the age of 12 and won 3/3 cuestars bronze tour tournaments, qualified for the last 16 of the English under 14s championship and earned promotion to the cuestars silver tour which I got to a few finals and also went very deep into many national championships. I then won the tour a couple seasons after including 4 tournament wins in a row.
In my first season after being promoted to the cuestars gold tour I finished 3rd in the rankings. I am currently ranked number 1 on the tour and enter pro ams which I am regularly winning a couple matches in.
I am also the record holder for the highest break in a Gone2Pot ranking tournament (116), the most ranking tournament wins, the most ranking titles and many more which includes the best juniors in London.

We're delighted to confirm sponsorship of Dylan Smith at the above event. Dylan recently posted an article HERE , in which he says:
"At age 11 I was the youngest winner of both the Kent Snooker Association (KCBSA) Under 16s and Under 21s trophies in the same year, which I believe was a record in Kent. I’ve been competing from age 10 and was lucky enough to represent England in 2022 in the Home Internationals (HIBSF), coming 2nd place in the overall player stats for Under 16s. And in 2023 I was selected to represent England in Malta for the European Snooker Association (EBSA) in both the Under 16s and Under 18s categories. I also appeared for England later that year at the Home Internationals once again, this time managing to win the Best Team prize for England A Team and to take 1st place in the individual player stats for Under 16s"
GOOD LUCK DYLAN !!
